Main purpose of job:

To oversee all aspects of education to include the work of our assessors for the training academy (Pro:Direct Academy Birmingham in association with Romulus FC)

To ensure that students attending the academy progress through their qualification in a suitable and timely manner

To ensure that the academy possesses sufficient resources for staff and students, which are in good working order

To maintain the health and safety of all staff, students and visitors to the academy

 

Responsibilities, duties and tasks:

To oversee the operation of the award(s) for the sector within the academy

To ensure that Trainer/Assessors are appropriately trained

To ensure that the academy’s facilities and systems are appropriate for the qualifications

To ensure that all Awarding Body information is disseminated to the academy staff

To ensure that Awarding Body requirements for administrative arrangements are carried out at the appropriate time

To ensure that training takes place daily for all students as set down in the learning plans for each qualification

To ensure that Trainer/Assessors adhere to the individual targets and training plans agreed with students

To ensure that Trainer/Assessors are using the prescribed lesson plans and training packs efficiently

To ensure that training sessions are evaluated for improvements by training staff

To ensure that trainee staff follow a suitable training programme

To ensure that all observation of teaching is conducted in line with Quality Improvement systems

 

General Responsibilities:

To maintain personal and professional development and CPD to meet awarding body and contract requirements, and the changing demands of the job

To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of the job

To undertake health and safety duties commensurate with the job role and/or as detailed in the staff handbook

To present a good image of Heart of England Training in all contacts, and to maintain constructive relationships to include account management of the three partnering organisations delivering the academy (Heart of England Training, Pro:Direct and Romulus FC)
